Homemade Falafel Burger Recipe

What You’ll Need (Serves 10)

  • 1kg Of Chick Peas
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • White Of 1 Leek
  • 1 Bunch Of Coriander
  • 1 Bunch Of Flat Parsley
  • 4 Cloves Of Garlic
  • 10 Beetroot Baps
  • 400gr Of Thinly Sliced Mixed Pepper
  • 4 Thinly Sliced Tomatoes
  • 1 Thinly Sliced Cucumber
  • 200gr Of Baby Mixed Leaves
  • 200gr Of Mint Yogurt Sauce

Creating The Dish:

Soak the chick peas over night.
Drain the chick peas and place in a blender with onion, leek, coriander, parsley and garlic. Blend until it all holds together.
Refrigerate for one hour.
Add one pinch of bread soda diluted in a little water into the mix before frying, this helps lighten up the mixture.
Shape into a 100gr pattie.
Fry for a couple of minutes.
